Thompson comes into his ninth start of the season with a 3-4-1record a 2.95 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage…The other big news regarding UNO’s lineup Saturday is that Ryan Walters is now on UNO’s second line and off the line he’d been on with Dominic Zombo and Josh Archibald. Jake Guentzel joins those two Saturday on UNO’s top line…A regulation or five-minute overtime win for UNO Saturday would put the Mavericks into a three-way tie for second place in the league with North Dakota and Denver – both of them are idle this weekend – on 24 points…Form (last five games): L-L-SOL-W-L.

Scouting the Huskies: Sophomore forward Joey Benik had two goals Friday in the Huskies’ 5-3 win over UNO, and he finds himself Saturday being bumped up from SCSU’s third line to its first. Benik will now be on a line with Nic Dowd and David Morley…Huskies forward Jimmy Murray left Friday’s game late in the third period and didn’t return, but he will play Saturday…SCSU forward Jonny Brodzinksi comes into Saturday’s game on an eight-game point streak, and he’s picked up 12 points in all in that span…SCSU is 5-0-2 when it’s been outshot this season…Form: SOL-L-L-W-W.
