Scouting the Mavericks: Freshman goaltender Anthony Stolarz is set to start for the Mavericks tonight. It’s his first start for UNO since he led the team out against WCHA rival Bemidji State on Oct. 27…Since Stolarz last played, the Mavericks have gone on a five-game winning streak. Senior goaltender John Faulkner played in all five of those victories coming against Michgian Tech on the road as well as Minnesota Duluth and Alabama Huntsville at home…UNO’s power play has struggled mightily over the last couple years, but the Mavericks have turned it around a bit lately, scoring six power play goals in their last four games, including one in Friday’s 3-2 win over UAH…Junior first-line winger Ryan Walters has scored in each of his last four games, and defenseman Michael Young has a four-game point streak going into Saturday’s game…Form (Last five results): W–W–W–W–W.

Scouting the Chargers: UAH has won two of its last four games against UNO, with the last coming during a series split last season on neutral ice in Nashville, Tenn…Head coach Kurt Kleinendorst is in his first season with the Chargers and his first season as a head coach in college hockey. Kleinendorst had been an assistant coach and scout before with the New Jersey Devils and also coached in the American Hockey League…Senior goaltender John Griggs gets the nod tonight for the Chargers. The Barrington, Ill. native has been UAH’s No. 1 netminder so far this season and made 30 saves Friday in the Chargers’ series-opening loss to UNO…The Chargers are 1-10-0 away from the friendly confines of the Von Braun Center…Form: L–L–W–L–L.
