GAME NOTES:
UNO junior captain Matt White did not make the trip up to Houghton for this weekend’s series. UNO radio commentators Dave Ahlers and Terry Leahy suggested several times during their broadcast that White’s absence from the lineup had to do with academic issues…Friday’s game was senior defenseman Bryce Aneloski’s 100th game as a Maverick. The only other current UNO player to have reached that plateau is senior forward Brent Gwidt…UNO’s power play is now 2-for-27 for the season to date, but the Mavericks’ penalty killers wiped out all seven of MTU’s power plays on Friday.
