GAME NOTES:
SUNO’s power play continued to struggle on Friday, albeit against statistically the WCHA’s best penalty kill unit so far this season. After three games on the Mavericks’ current four-game homestand, UNO is 1-for-10 when playing with a numerical advantage…Despite giving up three goals, BSU goaltender Andrew Walsh was superb on Friday. He ended the night with 39 saves, including 28 in the games’ first 40 minutes…UNO (2-2-1, 0-0-1 WCHA) and BSU (1-1-1, 0-0-1) meet again Saturday night in Omaha.
