DU freshman Daniel Doremus scored the overtime winner for the Pioneers on Saturday. It was the newcomer’s fourth goal of the season and capped off what DU head coach George Gwozdecky called, for Doremus, an up-and-down first year with the team…Jayson Megna’s shorthanded goal in the second period was Nebraska Omaha’s 10th such tally of the season…UNO honored its two seniors, defensemen Matt Smith and Kyle Ensign, during a Senior Night ceremony during Saturday’s second intermission…UNO (14-16-6, 11-12-5 WCHA) finished in seventh place in the WCHA standings, which means the Mavericks will travel next week to face sixth-seed St. Cloud State in the first round of the league playoffs
